Hey Marcella, Hope you are doing great! It was wonderful seeing you! I went to go see AVATAR tonight! I HIGHLY recommend seeing it in 3D as you will be blown away as James Cameron takes you to a world that is truly stunning and beautiful! He makes a real powerful statement of how we have treated our Earth only for resources. You have to see the movie to believe it-only in 3D!! Not a bad story either, but see if you can spot what other great SCIFI story it mimics…..

I’m hopeful that Avatar is the rebirth of eco sci fi and will lead to more films of the same sub genre. But, we still haven’t seen true green sci fi of our own world as it could be in a sustainable future. I’m hopeful that James Christopher Hill and I may still play a part in making green sci fi happen some day. Check out his great work at deviantart.com

Ernest was a brilliant, insightful man. He was generous with his time and very supportive of my efforts to bring ideas like his into being in the form of fictional film imagery. I think of him as the wisest elder of my tribe. But, he passed 5 years after we met and he didn’t know either where the rest of our green sci-fi filmmaking tribe is hiding. Do you?
